Privacy policy

Symbric collects information through this website, its booking form, and its career application form. This page explains what we collect, where it goes, and how to request deletion.

It covers this website only. If we go on to work together, the read access you give us to your repository, warehouse or data schema is governed by the written agreement we sign with you, not by this page.

What we collect

What you type into the booking form on this site, and the page you opened it from:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The page you came from, never a specific article

As you browse, we also record anonymous, aggregate traffic analytics through Vercel Web Analytics: counts of page views, which pages are visited, and how often the booking form is opened and submitted, tagged only with which part of the site opened it. These counts are not tied to your name, they set no cookies, and they do not follow you to other websites. There are no advertising tags on this site, and we do not build an identified profile of you.

Career applications

When you apply, we collect your name, email, current location, willingness to work onsite, whether you now or in the future require US employment visa sponsorship, uploaded PDF résumé, optional LinkedIn profile, your production-system answer, any optional GitHub or product link you provide, and your acknowledgment of the recruiting privacy notice and its version. We use this information to evaluate your application, contact you about recruiting, and meet required recordkeeping obligations. We do not use applications for marketing.

You may optionally provide gender, Hispanic or Latino identification, race, and veteran status for equal opportunity monitoring. These answers do not affect your application. We discard them unless you separately agree to share them. With that agreement, we add only independent category counts to Upstash after application delivery, without your application details, IP address, identifier, timestamp, or combinations of answers. These answers are excluded from recruiting emails.

Application details go to Formspree, which delivers them to our team. Uploaded PDFs pass through Vercel and are stored privately in Cloudflare R2. Formspree receives a storage reference and an authenticated bucket-dashboard link, without the PDF contents. Authorized team members use Cloudflare access to retrieve the résumé. Cloudflare Turnstile processes verification and device or network signals to detect bots. Upstash holds a hashed client-address rate-limit record, without the raw address, that expires after 15 minutes. Vercel hosts the application endpoint. We do not send your form answers to website analytics.

We keep application records for recruiting and required recordkeeping. You may request access, correction, or deletion at hello@symbric.com, subject to required retention.

Why we collect it

We use your name and email to schedule the call and to follow up about working together, and the page you came from to see which pages bring people in. We use the aggregate analytics only to see which pages people find useful. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we will not add you to a marketing list.

Symbric is a United States business. This site is directed at US organizations, and your information is processed in the United States.

Who else sees it

When you submit the booking form, we pass your name and email to Cal.com, the third-party scheduler that runs the booking calendar, so you do not have to type them a second time. Cal.com handles the booking and your details under its own privacy policy. Your name, your email and the page you came from also go to Formspree, a third-party form provider, which passes them to us by email. Our website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs of requests to the site and, through its Web Analytics feature, produces the anonymous, aggregate visit counts described above.

We use the providers described on this page to run the website, booking, and recruiting forms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We delete your booking details 24 months after we last hear from you. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we delete them. The aggregate analytics are not linked to you and hold nothing to look up or remove.

Seeing, correcting or deleting what you sent

Email hello@symbric.com and say what you want done. We will respond and confirm any action, subject to required retention. You do not need an account, and you do not have to explain why.

Do Not Track

The analytics we use count visits in aggregate, without cookies, without cross-site tracking, and without a profile tied to you, so there is no individual browsing activity for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. Booking and recruiting information is described above. We do not sell or share browsing data for advertising.

Children

This site sells to businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

27 October 2026: applications now require a PDF résumé stored privately in Cloudflare R2. LinkedIn is optional. Formspree receives a private storage reference and authenticated dashboard link alongside application details.

23 October 2026: added career applications, recruiting purposes, required recordkeeping, Formspree delivery, Cloudflare Turnstile bot verification, and temporary hashed rate-limit records in Upstash. The form also asks about visa sponsorship, records a privacy acknowledgment, and supports separately shared voluntary identification as independent category counts.

If this changes, the effective date above changes with it and the change is noted below. We keep prior versions and will send you one on request. We will not quietly broaden what we collect.

28 July 2026: the contact form became a booking form. The message field was removed, and Cal.com was added as a recipient of your name and email.

31 July 2026: the form is a demo booking. The fields, the recipients and the retention period are unchanged. What changed is the reason we contact you afterwards, and a note that access to a repository, warehouse or schema is governed by its own written agreement.

5 August 2026: the site added anonymous, aggregate visitor analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) and moved to a self-hosted font, so no third-party font service is contacted when you load a page. This policy was updated to describe the analytics accurately. The booking form, its fields, its recipients and the retention period are unchanged.

23 August 2026: the booking form sends your name and email to Formspree on every submission, and this policy now says so plainly. Booking links on our other pages now record which page you came from, and that page goes to Formspree with your name and email. It is never a specific article, and it is not sent to the calendar. The retention period is unchanged.

27 August 2026: the analytics now include anonymous counts of how often the booking form is opened and submitted, tagged only with which part of the site opened it, never your name or email. A site rebuild had switched the analytics off on 22 August; they resumed today, and nothing was collected in between.
